Introduce a Women's Fall Retreat, September 11 & 12, 2015

 

Guest Speaker will be Cheryl Denton

Cheryl Denton is an award winning speaker, author, and empathetic trauma 

survivor. Cheryl combines her faith and a sense of humor to encourage others 

who struggle or have loved ones that suffer from PTSD. She also teaches

caregivers of trauma survivors to practice good self-care as areas of coping

with the challenges that accompany PTSD.

Retreat "Need to Know"

The retreat will be at Camp Baldwin in Delta Junction. The camp is nestled within a thick forest of trees, offering rustic accomodations and a large fire pit for friends to gather around. Full showers and flush toilets are available. The retreat will be 6:00-9:00pm on Friday and 8:00-12:00 and 1:00 to 4:00pmon Saturday. The following meals will be provided for free: Dinner Friday night at 6, Breakfast Saturday morning at 8, and sack lunches Saturday afternoon. Everyone is on their own for lunch on Saturday.

Accomodations:

For ladies from out of town we offer free accommodations at Camp Baldwin. There are bunk beds in the cabins so you will need either a sleeping bag or fitted sheet. If rustic is not your cup of tea, please make a reservation at one of the following  hotels:

Child care is provided for a donation at the Youth Center 7 miles from the camp. If you are bringing any children, you will need to stay in a hotel.
